Joel Ransley
Graduate of Architecture

Joel brings a fresh perspective and a diverse portfolio of international experiences to DunnHillam. His involvement in the Killalea Regional Park Precinct Plan and the Gunnedah Koala Sanctuary Project showcase his contributions.

Prior to joining DunnHillam, Joel has undertaken internships at firms in Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Japan through the New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program, and developed a series of successful concept design proposals for seaside redevelopment projects in the United Kingdom. Drawing upon local community and culture in his designs, Joel remains committed to sustainable, context-driven design principles, and continually peruses a seamless integration of tradition and innovation in his work.

Joel has recently graduated from a master’s degree in Architectural Design and History at Italy’s Politecnico di Milano, where his final thesis investigated architecture’s role in fostering cross-cultural understanding in diaspora communities. When he’s not absorbed in the world of design, you might find Joel exploring the great outdoors, or with a ball at his feet on the football field.
