The Great Cobar Museum wins three awards at the AIA NSW Awards 2022

The Great Cobar Museum continues to surprise us with more recognition in the design industry, receiving three awards at the AIA NSW Awards 2022. This includes the Award for Heritage - Creative Adaptation and the Commendation for Heritage - Adaptive Reuse and the EmAGN Project Award which reflects the exemplary execution of a complex project with a modest budget by project architect Rose Davies.

We’d like to share our success with the Cobar Shire Council and all our collaborators on the project. With Stage 1 now complete, we look forward to commencing work on Stage 2 and 3 which includes works to upgrade and extend the outdoor exhibition and landscape, and build a new structure to house the coaches and vehicles in the collection.

Congratulations to all other practice winners, read more about them here: https://www.architecture.com.au/awards/2022-awards/2022-nsw-architecture-awards-winners
