Republic of Everyone - Adaptive Warehouse Conversion
Republic of Everyone describes themselves as 'sustainability strategists and communicators'. They gave us the brief to represent them through their new workspace - an adaptive warehouse conversion.
The brief? Make it the sort of place people want to come to work in, with plenty of open space, and make it using as few new materials as possible.
The result is an open plan oasis of sustainable thinking with two breakout areas, board room constructed from reclaimed windows, desks made from secondhand shop sideboards and plantation plywood, valet visitor parking (if you arrive by bike), a shower and plenty of natural light at every desk.
This project was shortlisted for the 2013 BPN Sustainability Awards for Office Fitout.
