Killalea Regional Park Precinct Plan now out on public exhibition

DunnHillam work often with government agencies and other organisations to help them plan for the long term future by creating thoughtful, sustainable and evidence based masterplans. We work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand the aspirations and challenges of the place, looking at geographical features, new and existing buildings, patterns of movement, potential funding avenues and more to create a masterplan document that can both inspire and be easily implemented.

We've recently been working with NSW National Parks on a masterplan for the newly gazetted Killalea Regional Park. 
 
Killalea Regional Park is on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra Region of New South Wales. The draft precinct plan proposes a new visitor’s pavilion, natural play area and outdoor cultural area, upgrades paths to prioritise accessibility and celebrate the local heritage and cultural landscape. We worked together with National Parks staff to create a plan for vegetation remediation and removal of damaging and old infrastructure. The surfers track will be rebuilt and connected to a viewing platform overlooking 'The Farm', which was declared a national surfing reserve in 2009.
