On Site: Rebuild Cobargo project

The Rebuild Cobargo project is an important not-for-profit initiative, driven by the local community as a means to recover from the Black Summer bushfires of 2019-20. It consists of 3 mixed-use buildings flanking either side of Princes Highway, designed to be robust and flexible whilst also reflecting the town's vibrant character. It will provide new facilities such as a co-working space, allied health centre, covered outdoor market space, various retail tenancies and apartments that aim to enhance the socio-cultural and economic vitality and liveability of Cobargo.

The project has just started construction! Principal Ashley Dunn and Project Architect Geremy Yip were in Cobargo late last week to facilitate works and a community information session -- and with them, this site model to encourage the conversation about the exciting future of Cobargo.
