AIA Fellowship Award: Lee Hillam and Ashley Dunn

We're proud to celebrate founding principals, Lee Hillam and Ashley Dunn, for being awarded Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Architects in recognition of their outstanding achievements and service to the community and the architectural profession over the past 23 years.

Since founding DunnHillam in 2001 their approach to architecture has always included the consideration of the people they design for and with, the communities in which they work and of course the planet. Their passion for making radical change where possible still drives the practice today. At times, we’ve been frustrated that things were moving too slowly, but they and we remain optimistic, we remain committed.

We have amazing like-minded clients and consultants that want to support sustainable projects and a team that have the know-how to make real, lasting impact. We still believe that architecture can be a force for good. It’s this belief that informs all we do, continually challenging and inspiring us.
